Tybee Media Group  is looking for web-savvy freelance news reporters to cover breaking news in island communities worldwide for Island News Service.

Seeking individuals to join our global team to cover and report on-air Breaking News and issues concerning island communities worldwide.

The ideal candidates are either entry level freelancers or current students. Should be a strong writer, have an interest in gaining virtual newsroom experience, an understanding of digital media, and love news. Knowledge of a wide variety of news and social issues is an asset, as is experience with social media and basic photo editing skills.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Qualified candidates will have an ability to write and edit quality, accurate content on deadline with rapidly changing priorities. The ideal individuals will have superior organizational skills.

Additional requirements include understanding best practices of real-time reporting; ability to create multimedia packages – including video and photos – using digital storytelling tools; familiarity with social media, including Twitter, YouTube, and Facebook; assertive and creative coverage; be results-oriented and have a passion for online journalism.

Preferred experience:

• Experience and/or interest in reporting and digital writing in a fast-paced environment

• Familiarity with photo editing and equipment, from smartphones to professional-grade cameras, is a plus

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends

The Director of Sales is responsible for all aspects of sales operations. This includes revenue/expense budgeting, sales strategy, 
forecasting, achieve/exceed revenue goals, special project development and sales team training/development. Broadcast/digital
sales management experience is preferred but serious consideration will be given to experienced sales executives with solid
sales track records, along with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and superior communication skills.

Preferred Requirements:
 
5 ­- 7 years experience in sales management
Hands on advertising sales and operational background
Ability to grow revenue through digital interactive and other approaches
Strong and positive leadership skills
Highly skilled leader, negotiator and motivator
Excellent written and oral communication skills

An Account Executive is the liaison between Tybee Media Group, our customers and advertising  agencies 
with the responsibility of generating the maximum amount of business for Tybee Media Group. In addition, the  Account Executive is  
responsible to achieve the highest percentage of all such business and to properly maintain all resultant advertising schedules  
secured on behalf of Tybee Media Group.

Responsibilities

* Develop and maintain professional relationships with local, national and international clients and prospective clients.

* Work in a collaborative environment with other TMG Account Executives, internationally, to identify prospective high value
international clients and to develop and implement successful cross border / international advertising campaigns. Examples of 
prospective high value international clients include but are not limited to; international airlines, hotels, tourism, energy and 
pharmaceuticals. 

* Achieve highest share goal and dollars on all pieces of business.

* Create new dollars through sponsorships and internet sales.

* Must be able to maintain pending reports and projections, obtain competitive information, and have the ability to serve as  
information specialist for predetermined company clients and communicate properly with management.
 
* Be organized, operate with sense of urgency. Show initiative, and anticipate problems and offer solutions.
 
* Exhibit effective written and verbal communication. 

* Prior experience as an Account Executive at a TV Rep firm or prior local TV advertising sales preferred but not required.

* Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.

* Great attention to detail and strong follow through.

Tybee Media Group is looking for a driven Social Media Specialist to attract and interact with targeted virtual communities,
potential advertisers and network viewers.

The goal is to achieve superior customer engagement and intimacy, expanding website traffic and engagement by strategically exploiting all aspects of the social media marketing roadmap.

The Social Media Specialist should have a solid understanding of how each of Tybee Media Group's social media channels work and how to optimize content so that it is engaging on those channels. You will be responsible for joining relevant conversations on behalf of the brand and providing support to current viewers and prospective advertisers.

Responsibilities

* Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification

* Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action

* Set up and optimize company pages as necessary within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s social content

* Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community

* Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules

* Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information

* Collaborate with other departments (customer relations, sales etc) to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions

Requirements

* Experience in social media marketing or as a digital media specialist

* Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills

* Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge

* Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels

* Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented  with good multitasking and organisational ability
